Mrs.Vadivambal Kandaswamy has become the first customer of the Tata Nano in Chennai. The Hon’ble Mayor of Chennai, Shri.M. Subramaniam handed over the Lunar Silver Nano LX during a function at the company’s wholly owned dealership - Concorde Motors India Ltd at Guindy.

The 2nd customer of Tata NANO in Chennai, Mr.R. Vijayakumar also received the keys at the function where senior Tata officials and local media were also present.

As promised, Tata Motors has commenced the deliveries of the Tata Nano in different towns and cities of the country in July. Dispatches to dealerships have begun from the Pantnagar plant, where the car is being produced, in accordance with the schedule informed to the customers.

Concorde Motors India Ltd (CMIL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors Ltd, was privileged to deliver the 1st Nano in India at its Mumbai dealership. The CEO of Concorde Motors Ltd, Mr.Anupam Misra remarked “The Tata Nano is truly a landmark in the automobile history of India. We feel privileged to have been given this honour and will continue to strive to provide the best sales and after-sales experience to all our customers’’.
