Concorde Motors India Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of Tata Motors Ltd, emulating its parent company reaches out to the society beyond work and business. As a new initiative, a health camp was conducted at Chennai which was a noble gesture by the HR team from Concorde, Chennai.

The HR and the Admin teams coordinated with the medical fraternity in Chennai and arranged a health camp on 13th September 2009. This camp was primarily aimed at the under privileged and orphan children. About 120 children attended the camp in the Adventist Church Compound. Each child was personally attended to by the doctors. Dr.Geeta, a general physician and an active person in community welfare measures spearheaded the camp. Assisting her were a dentist, an eye doctor and a couple of managers from the pharma companies.

Treatments were immediately meted out to the ailing kids. Also, three cases were diagnosed wherein the kids required surgery for cataract or appendicitis. The medical team adopted theses cases and willingly offered to provide the medical help free of cost.
